The 2015 Korea Indie and Expat Film Festival (KIXFF) featured Jorge López Navarrete’s Pequeño Bloque De Cemento Con Pelo Alborotado Conteniendo El Mar (Little Block Of Cement With Dishevelled Hair Containing The Sea, in English) on June 20, 2015 at the Camarata Music Company in Haebangchon, Seoul.

Pequeño Bloque De Cemento Con Pelo Alborotado Conteniendo El Mar (Little Block Of Cement With Dishevelled Hair Containing The Sea, in English) is a film about the journey of a dog and a mare. Here’s an excerpt clip of the short film. You can also view the clip on Vimeo. (Also, for more info about the film, you can check out the film’s official website.)

The short film was part of the International Shorts 2: Showcase of the KIXFF. It was shown along with 5 other films from 12pm to 1:45pm on June 20 2015, Saturday. I'm the webmaster and author at Freespanishshortfilms.com. I started this website as a complement to my studies in the Spanish language, but honestly, it just gave me an excuse to watch lots of great short films (like the ones in my author's picks section). I also blog and write short stories.
