Anónimos is set in the beautiful, labyrinthine city of Venice, Italy. Among the many people in the city, two people, in particular, are trying to find their way to each other. With only a cellphone to connect them, the two must navigate together through many bridges and landmarks, even though they’re both not very familiar with the area.
This film made me smile most of the time. There’s something about getting lost and relying on a strange person’s instructions to get to a certain venue. Add to that the thrill of finding new things, new people, and new experiences. The underlying premise is honestly quite an interesting though, but what are the chances? Life can be funny like that.
This kind of scenario has actually happened to me in real life. Well, it’s always refreshing to know that there are actually kindhearted souls in the world who will do their best to get your things back to you. But what about you? Have you ever experienced getting back something that was lost to you?
